Complex Trauma (C-PTSD) Support via NARM Coaching
online & in-person in Stuart, FL

A relational, body-centered approach — through NARM — to healing childhood wounds, releasing chronic shame, and breaking the patterns that keep you stuck.

Real safety is your willingness not to run away from yourself.

You've done so much work.
And you're
still stuck.

My clients don't lack self-awareness. They've done years of therapy, charted the historical origins of their every issue.  And yet.

The same patterns keep showing up. People-pleasing, over-working, chronic illness, exhaustion. "Why can't I get past this?" "It feels like I'm never going to be happy."

This isn't a failure of willpower or insight, and it's definitely not a lack of effort. For individuals living with complex trauma, insight and effort aren't enough.

What is NARM?

NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model) is a body-centered, relational approach to healing from C-PTSD, developmental trauma, and early childhood wounds.

At the heart of NARM is a recognition that connection is both a deep human longing and something that can feel genuinely threatening when you've grown up with relational wounds. This work brings compassionate curiosity to the ways you may have learned to disconnect from your body, your emotions, your needs, and your sense of self.

NARM works with what's happening right now.  Recognizing how the survival patterns that formed early in life are showing up in your body, your emotions, and your relationships makes space for new ways of responding to life.

In our work together, we explore:

  • The unique ways in which you learned to disconnect from your needs and emotions

  • How self-criticism, self-blame, and self-sabotage have acted as forms of self-protection

  • A compassionate lens on the choices you made to survive an otherwise-unsurvivable situation or environment

  • New choices that become available as you reclaim the agency and autonomy of your adult self.

This is not  therapy.

My coaching clients are focused on exploring and changing existing patterns in their lives. They are interested in self-empowerment and growth that comes from their own inner wisdom-- not external advice. My role is as a companion and witness along the way.

Coaching is not psychotherapy or clinical care. I do not diagnose or treat mental illness as a coach.

This is not the right approach if you're looking for diagnosis, treatment, psychological advice, or problem-solving support. If you're currently in acute crisis, working with active trauma symptoms that require clinical support, or finding it hard to stay regulated between sessions, I recommend you seek support from a licensed mental health professional first.

If you're unsure whether this is the right fit, reach out — I'm happy to help you find your way to the support that serves you best.

What makes NARM unique?

Traditional talk approaches often address symptoms without reaching their root, while pure somatic work can be so focused on the body that it  misses the deeper relational and meaning-making layers that drive lasting change.

NARM merges cognitive understanding with embodied wisdom.

Change comes from the integration of intellectual awareness with the felt physical experience in the body.

What is C-PTSD?

Complex PTSD (C-PTSD) develops from chronic, long-term relational and emotional trauma — particularly when it occurs during childhood in response to attachment failures or unstable environments.

Unlike single-incident PTSD, C-PTSD often includes:

  • Interpersonal difficulties, like struggles with relationships, trust, and intimacy

  • Negative self-concept, which shows up as persistent self-criticism, shame, and self-blame

  • Emotional dysregulation: difficulty managing or making sense of your emotions

Many people living with C-PTSD carry multiple diagnoses and have struggled to find lasting relief through symptom-focused treatment. From a NARM perspective, when we work with the underlying patterns — rather than just the symptoms — behaviors and responses begin to shift naturally, as you develop more agency and choice in your own life.

This work is one part of a larger whole.

NARM Coaching is one offering within Embodied Inner Work, alongside Somatic Coaching & Mindful Movement and Embodied Dreamwork.

Some clients come for NARM alone; others weave multiple modalities together over time. We'll find the approach that fits you.

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.

Somatic coaching is not psychotherapy. Somatic coaching is a de-pathologizing, body-based, holistic modality that centers client experience and autonomy.
