"(The fairy tale) functions exactly as it should; it gives a model for living, an encouraging, vivifying model which reminds one unconsciously of all of life's positive possibilities."
—Marie-Louise von Franz, The Interpretation of Fairy Tales

Fairy tales are an enduring and magical part of our shared human heritage. Their patterns map psychic processes. Through their archetypal and symbolic imagery, we can trace a breadcrumb trail through the dark forests of our lives.

Join Jane Clapp and Laura Wenger for a 2 hour interactive, embodied exploration of favorite fairy tale themes. Together, we'll examine four different stories to:

  • Recognize timeless patterns of trauma, nervous system states, and healing wisdom in fairy tales

  • Use the archetypal somatics of fairy tale symbols to support recovery and growth

  • Move beyond rigid systems and schemas and invite a more creative approach to trauma healing.

This workshop is appropriate both for practitioners who work with others in a helping capacity & for those who wish to explore archetypal trauma patterns through a fairy-tale lens. It is not intended to treat active trauma, nor is it a substitute for mental health care.

REFUND POLICY:

Full refund is available less a $50 administration fee if cancelled before November 1.
50% refund is available after November 25, 2024.
